Context
The CBD market matured fast, but consumer trust didn't keep up. After years of overblown promises and products with no transparency about what's actually inside, the public grew skeptical of any label that sounds like a “universal cure.”
At the same time, regulations in the United States (FDA, FTC) and the European Union explicitly forbid unproven therapeutic claims on labels and marketing materials. For Botanic Factory, that restriction wasn't an obstacle to work around, it was the starting point of the brand strategy: clarity and compliance became the differentiator itself, not just a legal requirement. The identity system was built to support a repositioning away from quasi-medical language toward a wellness and lifestyle tone that's verifiable and compliant.
Positioning principle applied in the Botanic Factory strategy
Brand idea
Botanic Factory didn't start out as an already-formed brand: the name, now used on the domain botanicfactory.com, along with the visual identity — the leaf-shaped “B” logo — were created entirely by our agency, from scratch. We built the Botanic Factory system on two distinct, interlocking layers. At its base sits the corporate identity: white, anthracite, and lime green, with the leaf-shaped “B” mark, which signs every product as belonging to the company. Above it, each product line (CBD 500, CBD 1000, Cannabell) gets its own tone and name, while staying anchored in the same label architecture: the black band with the concentration, the white logo on any background, the “For a better life” tagline.
The system's fixed elements (black band, logo, tagline) versus the variable elements specific to each product line (name, concentration, communication tone).

The system, in detail
01
The label architecture
The black band with the mg concentration and the white logo, present identically across any product variant or background.
02
The concentration code
CBD 500 and CBD 1000 are told apart by a single constant element, the number in the black band, not by different visual systems for each product.
03
Brand extension
Cannabell works as a distinct line, with its own name and tone, while staying recognizable as part of the same visual family.
04
Two tones, one system
Lifestyle communication (“no stress, no pain”) and technical communication (the biological-effects poster) coexist under the same visual architecture, adapted to each channel's register.
Result
The architecture built for Botanic Factory covers physical packaging at the same time, from the 3D render used for sales presentations to the production dieline actually used in print, and digital and print communication, from informational posters to banners and lifestyle ads.
The Cannabell sub-brand validated the system as extensible: a product line with its own name and tone, launched without breaking the parent brand's visual coherence.
The result isn't a label. It's an identity system that Botanic Factory can apply to any concentration, any product line, and any communication channel, without losing coherence.
